Brighton Botox or London Botox: Where Should You Get Botox?
Where Should You Get Botox? That is the question.
As a cosmetic doctor that has worked in both London and Brighton here in the UK, I’ve been asked whether you should get botox in London or Brighton.
London has many Botox clinics, either independent clinics or chains. Brighton has a smaller selection, but the principle remains the same.
Here’s a basic guide with 3 simple steps to help you save hundreds of pounds and in less than 60 seconds, will help you find the Best Botox Clinc in the UK, whether it bein London, Brighton, Manchester or even Scotland, with a botox injector that will suit your needs.
1. Decide by Botox injector, not location
While obviously you will not want to travel 6 hours from London up to Newcastle in order to get Botox, you should not decide by location. That means, don’t just cross the road and get Botoxed because the clinic is right across the street.
Research, research, research. Find out how much experience your injector has. The UK has very little regulation in the way of who does the injections. You could easily have an untrained beauty therapist administrating Botox, or a world class occuloplastic surgeon or facial cosmetic doctor. Who would you rather have? You can’t decide that purely by location.
Of course, in certain nice areas in London like Kensington and Harley Street, there are a higher number of cosmetic clinics available to choose from. As a cosmetic doctor who has worked in various part of London including Harley Street, I would say not to rely purely again on location, but by how much experience your doctor has with Botox and Fillers.
There are great Botox doctors in both Brighton and London, so you should not have any problems locating a good Botox injector.
2. Decide by results, not price
Most of us want to save a few quid when getting Botox, especially because it’s not a cheap treatment. However, the extra £10-£20 you will save now could add up to lots more in bills if you end up with a bad injector who over Botoxes you, leaving you with botox side effects. So when you look for an injector in London or Brighton, make sure that they followup with you. to make sure that the results are good. You want a cosmetic doctor with a good aesthetic eye, as they would be able to evaluate your face better than you would yourself by staring at the mirror.
Most doctors should also have some before/afters they can show you. So don’t hesitate to ask for these if you want to see the past results they have achieved.
Remember: You are investing in yourself and your looks and your youth, so this really should be a no brainer.
3. Account for transportation costs and followups from London to Brighton (and vice versa)
If you are taking the train from London to Brighton to get botox, or vice versa, remember that it will cost you another £15-£20 for the train. So if you find a good doctor who can do Botox for you in Brighton, or London, you might want to stick to them.
Also remember that it is a good idea to followup with your Botox cosmetic doctor after your treatment, so account for that. The usual folloup occurs 2 weeks after treatment. And remember that the effects don’t kick in until 24 hours after you get Botox, unlike fillers like Juvederm and Restylane, so if you’re based in Brighton, having a doctor who can look at you in East Sussex may be a good idea should you have any concerns.
